Set in beautiful park like surroundings, Dunedin's historic First Church was built in 1873, and as its name implies was the first permanent church in Dunedin.

With extensive stained glass throughout, and strong lines based around the use of local limestone in its construction, the church gives an air of solidity and grace. The church also boasts a number of tapestries depicting the foundation of Dunedin in the latter part of the 19th Century.
